HAMDARD HABB - E - SHIFA TABLET

Habb - E - Shifa is a compound drug of medicine that is made by herbs. It is useful in chronic and unknown fever. Habb -e- shifa is a small pill and the Chief ingredient is Tukhm Datura Safed (Datura alba seed).

Ingredients of Habb -e- Shifa: 
Tukhm Dhatura, (Datura Stramonium) : Datura stramonium, known by the English names jimsonweed or devil's snare, is a plant in the nightshade family. It is believed to have originated in Mexico but has now become naturalized in many other regions. Other common names for D. stramonium include thornapple and moonflower and it has the Spanish name toloache. Other names for the plant include hell's bells, devil's trumpet, devil's weed, tolguacha, Jamestown weed, stinkweed, locoweed, pricklyburr, false castor oil plant, devil's cucumber, and thornapple. D. stramonium in asthma treatment and possible effects on prenatal development was studied. Exposure of the foetus to D. stramonium when a mother uses it for asthma will cause a continuous release of acetylcholine, resulting in the desensitization of nicotinic receptors, this could ultimately result in permanent damage to the foetus. Therefore we conclude that this African herbal remedy should be used with caution during pregnancy 
Revand Chini, (Rheum Emodi) : Rheum emodi or Himalayan rhubarb is a perennial herb belongs to family Polygonaceae. It has been used in various traditional systems as laxative, tonic, diuretic and to treat fever, cough, indigestion, menstrual disorder since antiquity.
Sonth, (Zingiber officinale) : Zingiber officinale, commonly known as ginger, is a spice consumed worldwide for culinary and medicinal purposes. The plant has a number of chemicals responsible for its medicinal properties, such as antiarthritis, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer, etc.
Gond Keekar, (Acacia Arabica) : Babul is Unani and Ayurvedic herb that is used to mainly treat skin diseases, diabetes, bleeding disorders and intestinal worms. In English, it is generally referred to as the Indian gum Arabic tree. Babul is a small tree that grows up to a height of 8-10 m. It contains small spikes. The tree is commonly found in dry regions. The parts of the tree used for medicinal purposes are stem bark, fruit, gum, and seeds. Babul is largely found in the Indian sub-continent. These herb has multiple health benefits and is good in treating many diseases. 

Dosage of Habb -e- Shifa: One Pill to be taken twice daily on an empty stomach. 

Precautions of Habb -e- Shifa:
-keep away from children's reach.
-Self medication is not recommended.
-Store in a dry and cool place.
-Close the medicine cap tightly after every use.
-Keep the medicine in the original package and container.
